Diana Olano has dedicated her career to practicing immigration law. Prior to joining Dayzad Law Offices in 2015, Ms. Olano worked at immigration law firms in Washington, D.C. where she developed expertise in employment-based immigration, family-based immigration, and asylum law. She has represented clients before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services as well as in immigration courts.
Ms. Olano received her law degree from the George Washington University Law School. During law school she focused on immigration and international law. She participated in many internship programs, which included working at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Office of Chief Counsel, a non-profit, and the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights. Ms. Olano also participated in her law school’s International Human Rights Legal Clinic, defending victims of human trafficking. Ms. Olano was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 2013.
Ms. Olano received her Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, with a dual degree in Business Management and Marketing, from Florida State University. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Coming from a family of immigrants, she has always had a passion for helping the immigrant community thrive. Outside of work she enjoys traveling and immersing herself in new cultures, watching science fiction movies, and seeking new ways to stay physically active.
