We stand in solidarity against Asian hate and in support of the BIPOC and Asian and Pacific Islander communities. Violence and acts of racism specifically aimed at the AAPI community have become more and more common over the last year. This is unacceptable. We must condemn blatant acts of racism and violence when we see them.
Many people in these communities are also immigrants or children of immigrants – people who are looking for a better life in the U.S. The process of moving your life to a new a country is already stressful enough. It should not be made more traumatic because of senseless acts of violence and racism. We will continue to fight for social change on behalf of all in our immigrant community, and we stand with the APPI community to stop Asian hate.
