Today is a victorious day. Over a year and nine months ago we submitted a green card application for our client, along with applications for his family. Since then, the government has delayed, avoided its legal obligations, and caused harm to our clients. All this time, we have fiercely advocated for our clients through inquiries at all possible levels of government, including the independent Ombudsman’s office. Most recently, we filed a lawsuit in Federal District Court against the Department of Homeland Security, FBI, and U.S. Attorney General. Today we celebrate our victory–our clients’ rights have been respected and their green cards are already in production!
